Angelina County Justice of the Peace Donald Puckett resigned citing his wife's health needs, and his successor was sworn in early.

ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County commissioners accepted Donald Puckett's resignation Tuesday.
He served as Angelina County's justice of the peace for Precinct 2.
Puckett submitted his resignation Aug. 7. In his letter, he cited his wife's health and his need to care for her.
