HOWARD COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) -The Howard County Volunteer Department is currently on scene of a large fire outside of Forsan off of FM 821.

The department says additional resources have been called in and more are on standby.

Firefighters are asking people to avoid the area if they can until crews can get it under control.
