PRESIDIO, Texas (KOSA) - Presidio ISD police officers responded to a call at Presidio High School after an anonymous report that a student claimed to have a weapon and had made threats.

According to a press release from the Presidio ISD Department of Public Safety, officers searched the student, but no weapon was found.

Although the student stated he was joking, officers took the situation seriously and detained the student in connection with a reported terroristic threat, according to the release.
