HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is dead and a man is hospitalized after a domestic violence-related shooting in west Harris County on Friday afternoon, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Precinct 5 deputies responded to the shooting in the 7400 block of Casuna Lane.

Upon arrival, deputies found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds at an intersection, authorities said.
