(KGNS) - Voters in District 2 are choosing between incumbent Ricardo "Richie" Rangel Jr. and former Councilwoman Daisy Campos-Rodriguez in a rematch of their contested 2022 race.

In 2022, Campos-Rodriguez was initially declared the winner by six votes.

However, following a 2023 civil lawsuit alleging illegal ballots were cast, a judge ruled that 15 people who voted for Campos-Rodriguez had improperly established residency and awarded the seat to Rangel.
