A Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy is behind bars tonight, accused of continuously sexually abusing a child.

Alexander Cowley, 40, appeared before a judge Thursday night.

The judge said the allegations date back to 2016 and involve the continuous sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl Cowley knew personally.
