The Big Spring community showed up in a powerful way on July 18, rallying together for a benefit event in support of Tamara Averette in her fight against cancer.

The event, titled "F**k Cancer: We Fight Together," was held at 703 W.

3rd Street and brought out a strong crowd of supporters throughout the day.
