Zapata County pedestrian killed in U.S. 83 crash
A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 83 in Zapata County on Saturday evening.

ZAPATA COUNTY, Tex.
(KGNS) - A pedestrian died on the evening of Saturday, July 18, after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 83, near North Siesta Lane, according to Zapata County deputies.
Deputies said three people were attempting to cross the highway when one was hit by a car in a stretch of road with little to no lighting.
