The companies behind the proposed Marshall Springs battery energy storage system (BESS) and solar project agreed to largely halt site development last Thursday, Sept. 24, after agreeing to the terms of a temporary injunction filed against them by Gillespie County.

Marshall Springs Storage, LLC; Marshall Springs Solar, LLC; and AMPYR Energy USA, LLC agreed to the injunction as a compromise to avoid a contested hearing.

The agreement does not constitute an admission by the companies or waive either side's claims or defenses in the case.
