LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - The Longview Lions Club, which once had more than 100 members, now has four members as the 98-year-old service club begins rebuilding efforts.

Lions Club Global Extension Team Chair Jimmy Cox is leading the effort to grow the club."With a population of almost 90,000 there is no reason that there shouldn't be a very active, viable club in Longview, Texas," Cox said.

Cox is a lifetime Lions Club member."If Lions aren't in that community, in that city, in that school -- some things go unturned," Cox said.
