Just four years after the opening of a brand new police department headquarters in 2022, cracks are beginning to show.
At Monday's regular New Braunfels City Council meeting, Deputy City Manager Jordan Matney presented an update on the police department headquarters, which has experienced architectural issues in the past few years.
Sidewalks and doorways surrounding the building have separated and cracked, there have been issues with humidity in the firearms storage area, and sewage breaks have caused a shutdown of the men's locker room.
