WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (KAUZ) - Voters in the Wichita County area have a choice to make between candidates Chad Witherspoon and Kaycee Ryan for who fills Place 2 on the appraisal district board of directors.

The board is in charge of overseeing policies and leadership to help ensure property values are determined fairly, and the district operates responsibly."Over the years, my dad and granddad and great-granddad were all in the construction business. I went and got a degree in sports medicine at Midwestern, but slowly transitioned back into the building business," said candidate Chad Witherspoon.

"I own a bathroom remodeling business and do a lot of house flipping here in town.""The path that I've walked in Texas with owning property is where it kind of started me down this path of getting into property tax and trying to figure it out in Texas," said candidate Kaycee Ryan.
