The Houston Astros and general manager Dana Brown have mutually agreed to part ways.

Brown's contract was set to expire at the end of the 2026 season.

Brown's responsibilities will be transitioned to Astros assistant general managers Charles Cook, Gavin Dickey and Connor Huff and to senior advisor Jeff Bagwell.
