More than 50 people gathered last Thursday evening for a presentation by members of the Kerr County Friends of the Night Sky group, a group dedicated to reducing light pollution in the area.

The group is aligned with the Hill Country Alliance, which includes 14 other counties with the same goal.

The Dutch-treat meeting was at East End Pizza on Water Street in Kerrville.
