WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Texas State Technical College has opened a student-run restaurant to the public this summer as part of its culinary and hospitality management program.

The restaurant operates out of the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center and is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Most of the students working the restaurant are in their third semester of the program.

Under the supervision of Chef Instructor Mark Diamond, students plan the weekly themed menu, manage plating, and serve members of the public.
