CHANNELVIEW, Texas - A 16-year-old boy was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle that left the scene in Channelview, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 16000 block of Ridlon.

Investigators said a witness saw a dark-colored SUV strike the teenager before fleeing the scene.
