The Fredericksburg Police Department is partnering with Methodist Hospital | Hill Country and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Gillespie County Law Enforcement Center, 1601 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, Texas.

This nationwide initiative provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way for community members to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications, helping to prevent misuse and abuse.
