In a series of closely contested matches, Tivy did come up short, 10-7, against Ingram in District 26-4A team tennis action at the Warriors' courts Wednesday, but everything came down to the final few matches before Ingram eventually won out.

Tivy's victories broke down as two in girls doubles, one in mixed doubles, one in boys singles and three in girls singles.

Carli Goodwyn/Kenedy Gregory won 4-6, 6-0, 10-6 in one doubles match, and Caroline Eastland/Olivia Elliston won 6-3, 6-4 in another girls doubles match.
