Kerrville Independent School District has earned the Texas Art Education Association Visual Arts Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

More than 1,200 Texas school districts were eligible to apply, and only 109 districts received the distinguished honor.

The Visual Art Administrators of Texas, a division of the Texas Art Education Association, presented the award, which recognizes districts that demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to promoting visual arts education in their schools and communities.
