More than 1,000 Mustangs depart Lubbock for Route 66 drive

More than 1,200 Mustangs and classic cars from the Lubbock Mustang Car Club departed Lubbock to drive Route 66, stopping at iconic landmarks including Cadillac Ranch and the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - More than a thousand Mustangs and classic cars departed Lubbock today, hitting America's most iconic road, Route 66.

The Lubbock Mustang Car Club traveled northwest to the town of Adrian today.

It's the midpoint of Route 66.
