MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of Detention Officer Anon Vaughn Hoffman, 21, who died in an off-duty motorcycle crash in Austin County on Saturday.

Texas DPS said Hoffman was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that collided with a Volkswagen Atlas around 1:05 p.m. at FM 2502 and FM 2754.

Hoffman was pronounced dead at the scene.
