MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The 41st annual Taste of the Permian Basin brought together food lovers and the chefs that make it all possible.

The event is put on by the Permian Basin Chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association.

Jerry Morales, chapter chair, said the tradition has been going strong for over four decades."For 41 years we've been inviting restaurant tours, food trucks, bakers, confectioners, ice cream makers to come out and show there product and let West Texas know how we do it right out here with the food," Morales said.
