Harris County deputies and volunteers from Texas EquuSearch are searching for a 74-year-old man who has been missing for more than 24 hours.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the man was operating a remote-controlled aircraft with another man in a wooded area, which went down near the 11100 block of Katy Hockley.

The men located the downed aircraft, which EquuSearch describes as a model-airplane, but he went back to find a missing part and never came out.
