Two Air Force pilots safely ejected from a training aircraft Thursday evening near the Guadalupe-Wilson county line, according to authorities.

Assigned to the 12th Flying Training Wing, the pilots executed a "controlled ejection" of the T-6A Texan II at 5:51 p.m., Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph said in a news release.
