COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - On Nov. 3, voters will decide who will be in Place 7 of the College Station ISD Board of Trustees.

The race is between incumbent Heather Simmen and challenger Heather Strope.

Strope has been in the area for roughly 30 years and has business leadership experience "I came here to go to Texas A&M. I met my late husband, and we chose College Station to raise our kids because of its excellent school district. I have spent countless hours in the classrooms of our schools," said Strope.
