According to the court's weekly docket, jurors were scheduled to be seated Monday morning in the case of the State of Texas versus Damashun Oderique Haley.

Available arrest information indicates Haley was arrested in January 2025 after allegedly stabbing 34-year-old Thaddeus Ontario Straughter in Big Spring.
