The detection of two screwworm flies in Texas could lead to the construction of a new facility to reduce market losses.

Last week one screwworm fly was detected in a calf in Zavala County, between San Antonio and Eagle Pass.
On Friday a second was found in La Salle County, about 80 miles to the southeast.
