CenterPoint Energy has sent line workers and other personnel from the Houston area to Pensacola, Florida, to help restore power as communities recover from Hurricane Isaias.

The deployment is part of a mutual assistance effort supporting Florida Power & Light as crews work to address storm-related power outages along the Northwest Florida coast.

CenterPoint released some of its contractor line workers and vegetation management personnel to support the effort.
