WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Bellmead woman who assaulted her pregnant sister, a man who tried to intervene in the altercation and a baby he was holding was placed on felony probation Wednesday.

Judge Thomas West of 19th State District Court rejected Tobi Kash Ochoa's request for deferred probation, which the McLennan County District Attorney's Office initially recommended in a plea agreement with Ochoa.

DO NOT USE WITHOUT PERMISSION)Instead, the judge placed Ochoa on regular probation for five years on her guilty pleas to injury to a child and possession of methamphetamine, and regular probation for two years on her guilty plea to assault on a pregnant person.
