BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - About two dozen people sat silently through Monday night's Bryan ISD board meeting in support of Lashala Nicks, a Bryan High assistant basketball coach who said she was fired last week.

Most of the boardroom was empty.

The group sat together in matching shirts that read, "We stand with Coach Nicks." They were parents, students and family members.
