Hill Country Astronomers will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the Fellowship Hall of Zion Lutheran Church, 415 W. Austin St., Fredericksburg.

This month, Robert Reeves will introduce attendees to the basics of the Moon, how it formed and the types of geology visible through a telescope.

He will then visit 18 of his favorite places on the Moon and a dozen other "nicknamed" features.
