ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - An Ector County jury has sentenced a man to 12 years in prison after finding him guilty of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

According to the Ector County District Attorney's Office, on May 16, 2023, officers conducted a compliance check on Paul Everett and discovered an unreported social media account and multiple explicit images.

Everett was previously convicted of aggravated kidnapping of a victim younger than 17 years old, requiring him to register annually, according to the district attorney's office.
