Sheriff's Office: Woman reported multiple threats from an intruder BASTROP - The search is on for a suspected arsonist believed to have set three fires over two days that destroyed a woman's home and killed eight dogs including puppies, according to the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office.

A social media post from the Sheriff's Office Oct. 20 said deputies are looking for Abraham Salomon Chacon, believed to be 40, who is wanted on charges of first-degree felony arson and third-degree felony cruelty to animals.

Deputies described Chacon as 5-feet-10inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes, black hair or a bald head, and numerous tattoos on his head, body and arms.
