DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Grayson College rededicated its T.V. Munson Memorial Vineyard, honoring more than 50 years of roots while adding a partnership aimed at the vineyard's future.

It has served as a classroom for students studying the cultivation of wine grapes and the more than 300 varieties T.V. Munson developed in Denison more than a century ago.

College honors decades-old vinesRobin Bogue, a Grayson College professor and department director, said the rededication gives new meaning to the vineyard."Collaborating on something that started 50 years ago and actually giving it a new significant meaning for a brand new rebirth... we are honoring the legacy of TV Munson and the vineyard that has the 50-year-old vines," Bogue said.
