ROBINSON, Texas (KWTX) - Robinson ISD voters have rejected an $81. 2 million bond measure that would have funded a new junior high school alongside districtwide facility and safety upgrades.
Unofficial election results show Proposition A failed Tuesday with 2,593 votes (57. 6%) against and 1,910 votes (42. 4%) in favor.
The $81,210,000 bond proposal was designed to fund construction, renovations and equipment across the district, with the centerpiece project being the replacement of Robinson Junior High School, built in 1969 and the oldest campus in the district.
