(KXII) - Oklahoma City Thunder legend Russell Westbrook is set to be honored by the franchise as the team plans to retire Westbrook's number 0 jersey.

The Thunder announced they will be putting Westbrook's number up in the rafters when the team hosts the New York knicks on February 7.

Westbrook won the 2017 MVP, was selected to the NBA's 75th anniversary team and retired as the NBA's all-time leader in triple-doubles.
