BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A cherished local nonprofit is facing challenges with food and fuel as prices continue to rise.

Meals on Wheels has served the community for 47 years, delivering meals to Brazos, Grimes, Burleson and Robertson counties.

Volunteers currently deliver about 10,000 meals a month.
