GLADEWATER, Texas (KLTV) - Gladewater ISD announced Wednesday that it would transition to a Tyler-based private security contractor for daily armed security beginning Nov. 3.

The district made the decision to hire Paladin Solutions following a review of security needs and discussions with Gladewater city officials and the Gladewater Police Department, according to a press release.

Paladin Solutions is a private security and protection firm based in Tyler, whose officers hold Level III and Level IV certifications, according to the release.
