On Nov. 13, longtime recovery speaker and La Hacienda Treatment Center Director of Recovery Services Chris Raymer will mark 39 years of continuous sobriety.

Raymer, a West Texas native whose sobriety date is Nov. 13, 1987, has spent decades carrying a clear Big Book message in Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and at treatment centers.

He first helped build La Hacienda's alumni program in the 1990s, led it for 17 years and returned in 2018.
