The Kerr County Democratic Party will host a "Meet and Greet the Candidates" event from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at River Star Arts & Event Park, located at 4000 Riverside Drive in Kerrville.

The event will feature Dr. Kristin Hook, candidate for U.S. House District 21; Joe Paz Herrera, candidate for Texas Senate District 24; and Kathryn Hartmann, candidate for Texas House District 53, according to the Kerr County Democratic Party.

The candidates will discuss their views and positions on key issues.
