(KGNS) - Some gates at the Laredo ISD Performing Arts Complex remain closed after a fire damaged the DoubleTree Hotel across the street, district officials said.

Spectators attending athletic events at Shirley Field this weekend can enter through gates along Santa Maria Avenue, on the west side of district property, and park in nearby lots, officials said.

Visitors should allow extra time because access routes have changed.
