The Brownwood High tennis team played its second and third matches of the young season at Rose Park Friday, falling to Wall, 16-3, and Canyon West Plains, 19-0. "The caliber of opponent goes up each match, but it's a good test," said Brownwood tennis head coach Dalton Hutchins.

"Physically, we're handling the heat well. We just need to put more balls in play." The victories for Brownwood Friday came from the No. 3 boys doubles team of Duncan Dennison and Parker Dennison, Ian Cervantes in No. 4 boys singles, and Parker Dennison in No. 5 singles - all against Wall.

The Lady Lions and Lions (0-3) will face Canyon High at 8 a.m. Saturday back at Rose Park to conclude action for the first week of the season.
