The Pleasanton Eagles cross country teams delivered solid team performances at the Pete Belman Classic meet on Thursday, Sept. 24, highlighted by a third-place finish for the varsity girls and a fourth-place finish for the varsity boys.

"They competed hard and it's a super flat course so we got a bunch of PRs today," Pleasanton head coach Arianna McDermott said.

"So I think that'll be a good confidence boost going into district." The varsity girls accumulated 66 points to capture third place overall, placing six runners inside the top 20.
