The Brownwood High tennis team captured its fifth consecutive District 6-4A victory, 12-7 over Peaster Tuesday, to earn the league's second seed for the playoffs.

Brownwood (5-8, 5-1) - which knocked off Graham, Mineral Wells, Stephenville, Glen Rose and Peaster after opening league play with a loss to Brock - will face Monahans in the bi-district round of the playoffs next week.

A time, date, and location had not been finalized Tuesday night.
