Credit: Facebook / Mia's Mexican Grill Longtime Northwest San Antonio Tex-Mex spot Mia's Mexican Grill will open a second location next year, regulatory documents show.

After nearly two decades at 11739 Bandera Road, the restaurant has filed with Texas regulators to remodel an existing 4,500-square-foot building in The Vineyard Shopping Plaza near Loop 1604 West to create a second location.

The same shopping center houses a Whole Foods Market location, J-Prime Steakhouse, Sushishima and the Northside Black Swan Yoga studio.
