BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore and District Attorney Brian Price have issued a joint statement to address questions and concerns following a recent mistrial in the 20th District Court murder trial of Colton Coufal.

The officials emphasized that the mistrial does not mean the case is dismissed or that the defendant is being released."A mistrial simply ends the current trial," Clore and Price said in the statement.
