NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - One man is injured after a trailer home caught fire Wednesday in Nacogdoches County, according to the Central Heights-Appleby Volunteer Fire Department.
The man received burn and inhalation injuries and had to be flown to the Louisiana State University Burn Center, according to a department spokesperson."This fire was a result of an outdoor burn pile being left unattended and escaping to a neighbors home," a spokesperson wrote on Facebook.
"The burn ban has been lifted but that doesn't mean the dry conditions are gone."The spokesperson advised to use caution when burning and not to leave fires unattended.
