One person was seriously injured when a vehicle struck a gate at a home in east Lubbock on Thursday afternoon.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - One person is seriously injured after reports of a vehicle that struck a building in east Lubbock Thursday afternoon.

Just before 3:30 p.m., Lubbock police say officers responded to a home near East Colgate Street and North Spruce Avenue.

Police say the vehicle struck a gate.
