A 61-year-old man has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy found along the Katy Freeway service road in Houston on September 30, 2025.

Marcus Fernandez is now facing a murder charge, accused of stabbing 16-year-old Franklin Torres-Concho.

Torres-Concho's body was found around 8 a.m. on September 30, 2025 along the Katy Freeway service road in the Heights.
