McConaughey surprised and angered some of his own fans by posting a clip on the eve of the state's start of early voting which urged viewers to "vote independent." Sign up Jones referred to the video by the Dallas Buyers Club actor as a "waste of time" in her post, which featured a less-than-flattering screenshot of the Oscar-winning actor from the video in question.
